Sounding Cities project: A collaborative project between the cities of Birmingham (UK) and Johannesburg kicks off in Johannesburg with Clare Loveday, saxophonist Naomi Sullivan, clarinettist Luke Newby and artist Nandipha Mntambo at The Centre for the Less Good Idea. City Deep for Bb clarinet and alto and baritone saxophone was written for this project. Further concerts in Johannesburg at Wits University in August and in Birmingham, UK, in October 2018.
